India’s PC yarn prices decline amid poor demand, poly spun steady

•India’s polyester-cotton (PC) yarn prices dropped by ₹2-3 per kg in the Ludhiana market due to reduced demand and market uncertainty.
•However, the polyester spun yarn prices remained steady, with Ludhiana traders seeing no overall market improvement.
•The Surat market also maintained stable poly spun yarn prices with potential demand revival in mid-July.

Ne30 PC (65/35) carded yarn @ ₹190-195 per kg
Ne30 @ ₹152-160 per kg (including GST)
Recycled polyester fibre (PET bottle fibre) @ ₹69-72 per kg

The Surat market
Ne30 PE spun yarn @ ₹140-141 per kg
Ne40 PE spun yarn @ ₹155-157 per kg
Ne30 viscose compact yarn @ ₹217-218 per kg

The Mumbai market
Ne30 viscose vertex yarn @ ₹194-204 per kg

Cotton price: In the north Indian market, it continued to show a downward trend @ ₹75-100 per maund of 37.2 kg,

•Haryana @ ₹5,475-5,575 per maund
•Upper Rajasthan @ ₹5,800-5,900 per maund
•Low Rajasthan @ ₹53,000-55,200 per candy of 356 kg
